Mike and Caity Wilson, the dedicated owners of Miller Farm Crafted, manage operations alongside their three children. With over 15 years of experience in the studio furniture industry, Mike honed his craft under the mentorship of esteemed local furniture maker, George Olivier of Olivier Woodworks. Additionally, he holds a degree in Fine Art with a focus on Studio Art. Mike’s diverse background in steel fabrication, general carpentry, and finish carpentry equips him with a unique skill set perfectly suited for our business.
Nestled on family land, our farm has deep roots in Caity’s family history, originally established by her great grandfather as a cattle farm. While there are still cows in the pasture, the barn is filled with four legged furniture and tools.
When you contact us, you can expect to speak directly with Mike Wilson, the owner, designer, and lead builder himself. We highly value our customers, and our communication approach aims to be clear and direct to ensure that all details of your project are retained.
Initially, we’ll discuss the scope of your requirements. Are you seeking custom furniture, bespoke woodwork for your home, repairs for existing pieces, or perhaps seeking a professional partnership to fulfill a client’s needs? Once we’ve established the scope, we’ll discuss your expected timeframe for completion.
Following this, we’ll provide a preliminary price estimate to ensure alignment on the project’s value. Upon mutual agreement between us and you, our client, we’ll proceed with an initial down payment to secure your place in our queue.
The next step involves creating design sketches. Once the dimensions and style are finalized, we’ll discuss the most suitable materials for your project. Throughout the build process, we can provide regular updates on progress. However, we kindly request your understanding as we are also committed to other clients and their projects.
As needed, we can offer color samples and physical models for your approval. Upon completion, we prefer to personally deliver your project to ensure its safety and satisfaction
